Act Justly, Love Mercy & Walk Humbly

Beloved brethren, I recently attended a workshop and the main speaker, Justice Lee Muthoga, quoted a verse that touched my heart.

He quoted Micah 6:8 NIV,

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.

And what does the Lord require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”

This verse is a powerful summary of how God wants us to live. It calls us to:

1. Act Justly:

This means doing what is right and fair, treating everyone with impartiality, and standing up for those who are oppressed.

2. Love Mercy:

This involves showing compassion and kindness to others, forgiving those who have wronged us, and helping those who are in need.

3. Walk Humbly With Your God:

This means recognizing our dependence on God,. acknowledging His greatness, and living in a way that honours Him.

This verse is a reminder that being a true Christian is about living a life that is characterized by:

JUSTICE, MERCY and HUMILITY.

By the way: It’s My Birthday.
