Beloved brethren, let us hit the year running, and learning.
Today I want us to unpack a wise statement from my spiritual father Bishop Oyedepo, who recently said,
“Wisdom that is not serviced will not serve you”
Wisdom is a living entity.
It requires constant feeding and nurturing to remain relevant and profitable.
Proverbs 9:9 KJV, says:
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser:
teach a just man, and he will increase in learning”
A wise man must keep on learning, training and receiving new instructions to remain wise.
Even the wisest man, King Solomon, became a prey to the allure of complacency.
Solomon’s wisdom, a gift from God, began to dim when he stopped seeking new knowledge, training and counsel.
”Wisdom is a living entity.”
He neglected the place of learning, training and consulting which eventually ended his famed wisdom.
True wisdom is not a destination, but a journey.
True wisdom demands continuous studies, a thirst for new information, and a willingness to learn from others.
“Wisdom that is not serviced will not serve you”
Purpose to keep servicing your wisdom in 2025.
