Love and Hospitality

Beloved brethren, today I want us to go back to some basic principles of real Christianity.

I want us to talk about love and hospitality.

We will draw our inspiration from, 1 Peter 4:8-9 NIV, which reads,

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.”

When we lead with love, we cover a multitude of sins.

Love is patient,
Love is kind,
And love is forgiving.

Love sees the good in each person, even when it’s difficult to locate such.

Love empowers us to relate with people and tolerate them without stress.

We are also called to offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

It means warmly welcoming others into our lives and homes: making them feel at peace, at home, and appreciated.

This kind of love and hospitality can heal, restore and unite people in ways beyond our imagination.

Love and hospitality will minister to people about our God, in ways our words can never do.

People can forget your words, but not your love and hospitality.
