Praying For Our Children To Succeed and Flourish in Life

Beloved brethren, today, let us lift up our children and our youth to the One who holds their future in His hands.

As we read in Psalms 144:12 NLT,

“May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants.
May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.”

This is our prayer for our children and the youth in Kenya.

We long to see our children and our youth grow and thrive, blossoming into the individuals God has called them to be.

Just as a well-tended plant requires nurturing soil, abundant sunshine, and regular care, so too do our children and our youth need the nourishment of God’s word, the warmth of His love, and the guidance of faithful parents and mentors.

May our sons be like strong, vibrant plants – growing upwards, drinking deeply of the living waters of God.

May our sons be steadfast in their faith, unwavering in their pursuit of righteousness, and unafraid to stand firm in the face of adversity.

May our daughters be like graceful pillars, refined and beautiful, supporting the structure of godly families and communities. May our daughters carry themselves with the dignity and poise of those who know their true worth.

“May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.”

Psalm 144:12 -NLT

May God pour out His favour and blessing upon our children and our youth.

May they find purpose, direction, and the fulfilment of God’s perfect plan for their lives.

Like the psalmist, we raise our voice in humility, praying:

“May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.”
